Ms. Robowski is a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Ms. Robowski’s practice focuses on state and local tax controversies wherein she represents corporate clients in matters ranging from audits to administrative appeals and litigation. She has considerable experience in complex property tax matters both at the county and superior court levels. Of particular note, she has managed property tax appeals in nearly all 58 counties across California. Ms. Robowski’s background is in general litigation with experience involving a variety of different matters ranging from navigating Federal Trade Commission investigations to defending multi-national corporations in securities litigation. As a participant in Pillsbury’s Pro Bono Placement Program, Ms. Robowski spent a year as a volunteer public defender during which time she argued several motions, prepared many misdemeanor cases for trial, assisted on felony matters, and personally conducted two misdemeanor jury trials. Additionally during this time period, Ms. Robowski worked as a volunteer staff attorney at Legal Aid of Marin, working on issues such as eviction and foreclosure defense, trust administration and employment disputes.
