About Breanna Lawrence

In high school, I had only one idea of what I wanted to do for the rest of my life; to help people. Unfortunately, I had no idea how I wanted to help. My peers and teachers believed I had the personality to become a teacher, and I figured.why not? I could help others become educated and prepare for the rest of their lives. So, I went to UW Rock County to save myself some money by getting my general education classes done. Somewhere through my second semester, though, I started to feel uneasy. Teaching just didn't seem to fit. Well, that's when I went to Walmart. Being the extrovert that I am, I sat next to an elderly man that seemed lonely, and we began talking. Shortly into the conversation the man began to tell me of his troubles, and something in particular that was really bothering him within his marriage. After the end of the conversation, the man told me that I had really helped.and then I knew. I transferred to Cedarville University to get a degree in psychology, and since then have decided that I would be best suited for an addictions counselor. What better place to help?
