About Breanne Wolf

I currently work casual positions as a rehabilitation assistant at Connect Communities, St. Joesph's Healthcare, and in the Acquired Brain Injury Program at the Regional Rehabilitation Centre. However, I am interested in gaining more experience working in the field and learning from interdisciplinary teams. Specifically, I am looking for the opportunity to implement and enhance the skills and knowledge that I obtained while attending the OTA/PTA Program at Mohawk College and the Arts & Science Program at McMaster University. I have practiced balancing school, work, and extra-curricular activities, while also achieving my personal goals. In fact, I recently took a few training sessions at the Annual Brain Injury Conference and completed an NDT introductory course. Furthermore, I received certifications in Crucial Conversations, Sexuality in People with Disabilities, Unconscious Biases & Micro-Aggressions, and Two Spirit & LGBTQIA+ Positive Space, offered through the Centre for People Development by Hamilton Health Sciences. Some of my former jobs involved working for The Volunteer Association as Team Co-ordinator at the Barton Bean and working for FreshCo in the bakery department. Whereas, my former volunteer experiences consisted of a job shadow at St. Peter’s Hospital on the restorative care unit, a placement at the Hamilton General Hospital in the acute care unit, and giving back much of my time to Scott Park’s baseball association. Overall, attending school, working, and volunteering helped me to strengthen my skills such as: teamwork, communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and completing tasks to my best ability in a time-efficient manner. I think my training, experiences, and qualifications make me a valuable asset, while my history in the healthcare system could allow me to bring a variety of different perspectives to your company.
