About Bree Gilbert

I interned with Baximus Consulting this past Summer. I worked directly with CEO, Phil Thomas, to support client performance improvement initiatives, primarily focused on operational efficiency. I participated in client meetings, analyzing discussions to identify client opportunities and next steps. My responsibilities included studying operational workflows, documenting inefficiencies and creating actionable, evidence-based recommendations. During my four years at Wheaton College (IL), I was a member of Varsity Indoor Volleyball Team. Being a student athlete has taught and helped develop my discipline, leadership skills, importance of being a good teammate, accountability, and confidence to accomplish hard tasks. Throughout my coursework, I have completed numerous academic projects which have simulated professional work environments and provided me with analytical skills. One relevant project entailed creating a detailed business plan for a financial literacy tool, including vision, mission, strategy, KPIs, market research for financial feasibility, risk analysis, and a 5-year income statement. I have experience building an intuitive Access database and organizing complex datasets in Excel for user friendly analysis. I have analyzed and presented market-entry strategies for a non-US market, focusing on international differences. Another impactful project was the creation and presentation of a comprehensive marketing plan for a real business.
