About Bree Jones

I have developed skills in leadership and management, from 5 years of experience in education and health as the Holmesglen Discipline Leader for the Charles Sturt University Bachelor of Oral Health. During this time I have deepened my understanding of my own and others communication styles, and learned a greater situational awareness, that has enabled me to build an effective and strong team who respect and trust one another. I am passionate about teaching and curriculum design. I thrive in a classroom environment engaging with students, and have an ability to break down difficult concepts so they are understandable and clinically relevant. I am interested in learning more about digital technologies and how they can be applied in the classroom, and online to best support student learning. 10 years of clinical experience, in both the public and private sectors as an Oral Health Therapist, has resulted in well-developed time management and organisational abilities. During this time, I have established a personal pride in doing good work and fostered an attention to detail, compassion, and problem solving skills that contribute to my success as a clinician and leader. In addition to being a motivated team player, my unique background has fostered the development of strong interpersonal skills, of which building relationships, and relationship management are my biggest strengths, in addition to being responsive, flexible, authentic, reflective and empathetic.
