I am a motivated professional with a passion for client service, communication, and benefit education. With experience in both Service Operations and Secondary Education, I have been able to combine my love of client care with my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and effectively. I believe in empowering my clients through communication and education, so individuals are better able to achieve positive, health-related outcomes. As a Client Service Executive at Cigna, I maximized my communication skills by breaking down complicated claims and concepts in ways that made sense to my clients. I am a strong advocate for the client's voice and understand that the people I serve have specific needs that must be addressed and nurtured. As a National Client Service Executive, I built solid relationships with clients and drove customer satisfaction through my delivery of exceptional after-sales service and hands-on, dedicated, personalized support to client employees, and the HR Team. I know the benefits of solid teamwork and work exceptionally well with internal partners to ensure that the client has a first-in-class experience. My experience in secondary education has afforded me the opportunity to work with a vulnerable population of students. I developed relationships while motivating and inspiring my students to exceed expectations which were consistently clear in my students’ measurable growth. I teach students with diverse backgrounds and education levels how to communicate effectively through writing and public speaking. I believe that meeting a student on his or her individual level and educating from that perspective will result in academic and personal success. This skill is an asset in both the boardroom and the classroom. During my time at Cigna, I received a Quarterly Champion Award for leading a team of advocates in a quality pilot program that ultimately changed the way Cigna coached and developed its employees. I have received multiple accolades from my clients and managers for my dedication to service and my willingness to share my expertise. I received my Master’s in Teaching from Marywood University and my B.A. in English with an emphasis in Professional Writing from Misericordia University. I am based in Northeastern Pennsylvania where I live with my husband, two children, and my adorable dog.
