About Breen Taylor

With over 23 years of experience in the Powerline Utility and Contractor sector, I bring a wealth of expertise in corporate/field health and safety operations. My career spans frontline OHS support, incident investigation, and the development maintenance of HSE learning programs, best practices, policy, standards and procedures. I’ve led and contributed to several internal and external research councils, while delivering corporate training to over Powerline Utility and Contractor employees. My hands-on experience includes 24/7 on-call power restoration, live line work, transformer installation and maintenance, distribution and substation services, and extensive work with overhead and underground services. I also specialize in operating heavy equipment, including radial boom derricks, excavators and several more. I hold a 3M Fall Protection Certification which allows me to teach industry workers in-depth fall protection techniques. Beyond my professional achievements, I’m passionate about community involvement. I’ve raised nearly for charities such as Kev’s Kids (Picture Shown), Zebra Child Protection Centre, Little Warriors, and the Youth Empowerment & Support Centre. Additionally, I’ve dedicated over 18 years to coaching youth sports like hockey, soccer, and ball hockey, and serving as an active board member within these associations. I am committed to fostering safety, innovation, and community growth in every aspect of my work and personal life.
