About Brenan Pool

I'm an architectural engineer. Architectural engineers are engineers for architects. We typically design building systems such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, structural systems, building envelopes, fire protection, sustainability strategies, acoustics, and more. I focus on MEP building systems: pumping in conditioned air, electrifying the lights, and piping around water for buildings. I dual-majored in architectural engineering and civil engineering while minoring in sustainability studies from Missouri S&T. I'm now going back for an MBA from UTPB to further enhance my business management skills. I hold several green building credentials while leading others in organizations such as American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Architectural Engineering Institute (AEI), and more. I'm passionate about my efforts at changing the world with simply, effective solutions as well as learning about others' work.
