About Brenda Duensing
Worked at St. Francis Emergency Department in 1978 as a new RN. Started at St. John in the Operating Room in November of 1979. Stayed home to Home Educate three daughters from 1990 until 1998, during which I did many private duty nursing jobs in people's homes. Began full-time nursing again with Olsten Home Health in 1997-1998. Began working in Endoscopy at St. Francis PRN in Started working a couple of nursing strikes a year with US Nursing, went to work at Tulsa Endoscopy Center until 2004. Traveled to Jane Philips in Bartlesville in 2005 where I was offered the Clinical Supervisor role in Endoscopy. Worked that role until 2007 when I started doing strikes and travel assignments all over the US again. After my husband graduated from nursing school we traveled together. Our last place was OU medical in surgery from 2008-2010. Then I took a permanent position as a Clinical Instructor in surgery in 2010 until fall of 2017. Thirty-nine years in nursing! Most of it in surgery.
