About Brenda Pearson

Majority of my life, I have been self-employed working first as a massage therapist when I lived in Florida for 20 years. During my time in Florida, I had started Referral Networking Solutions to create a fun and inviting place for people to meet and connect to create business relationships. Roll forward and in November 2011, I moved home to Wabasha, MN, and since then, I have lived and worked in Milwaukee, WI; Minneapolis and finally settled back in Wabasha. Since moving home to Southern, Minnesota, I now own & operate Minnesota's first and only bed & breakfast and brewery. June 2015, I purchased Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast & Adventure and in November, 2017, Hoppy Girl Brewing opened in the three car garage. Owning and operating two small businesses in a rivertown of 2151 people keeps me busy. Pre-covid, I opened and operated Wabasha Gifts, Art, Treats & Treasures in downtown Main St. Wabasha showcasing local artisans, family & friends work. Since May 2020, Wabasha Gifts moved into Turning Waters Bed & Breakfast and continues to showcase during the holiday times, local artisans work. On a personal side, I am involved in the first international Rotary Group Against Human Trafficking. My involvement in Rotary International started when I moved back to Wabasha. Rotary is for anyone that believes in doing humanitarian good in the community and throughout the world. Be the Change!
