About Brenda Seto

As an independent consultant and strategic advisor, I help C-Suite, business leaders and their companies harness growth opportunities and create positive change in various sectors, from food and beverage to toys, entertainment and fashion. With over 25 years of experience from emerging to multinational organizations, leader in brand marketing, product innovation, licensing and category management, I’ve developed a passion for connecting, collaborating, and creating solutions across products, brands, licenses, and retail. I believe in integrating sustainability and DEI strategies for social and economic impact, leveraging my UN certification in sustainability, BA in Economics, and coursework in organizational behaviour and international marketing. I have successfully launched and grown early-stage to multi-million dollar businesses, negotiated complex contracts for multi-market agreements, and helped companies achieve coveted industry awards, such as Licensee of the Year for Disney North America and Mattel Canada. As a board member and strategist for non-profit organizations, such as WFIM (Women in Food Industry Management) and N. America Ambassador for Products of Change, I also support sustainability, diversity, and inclusion initiatives, mentor and inspire industry to be their best. Growing up in an immigrant family has taught me to honour and respect the earth and not waste what nature offers. My life has come full circle, as this has inspired me to pursue my mission of helping companies and consumers make a positive difference in the world.
