Communication plans encompassed full spectrum operations to include SHF, EHF, HF, UHF and VHF voice and data requirements. Responsible for C4I systems operation and maintenance which included WSC-8 Commercial Wideband Satellite Program (CWSP), WSC-6 Defense Satellite Communications System (DSCS), USC-38 EHF Low Data Rate (LDR), and Naval Modular Automated Communications System (NAVMACS). Developed and executed shipboard network upgrade and migration for integrating eight servers and 500 plus workstations from Windows NT to Windows operating system. Responsible for the maintenance and administration of the IT-21 ISNS Afloat Network entailing 12 servers, 10 switches and 2 core routers. Provided real time 24/7 network support to more then shipboard users ensuring optimal network reliability and system functionality.
