About Brendan Borbone

I am a graduate from Sacred Heart University with a Masters of Fine Arts in Film & Television. During my time in graduate school, I worked full-time as an Audio Visual Graduate Assistant. Some of my responsibilities included maintaining classroom equipment across the university’s campuses, managing inventory for classroom equipment as well as inventory of our backup gear in multiple different storages, setting up and supporting audio/visual gear for events such as speakers, projectors, microphones, transmitters, cameras, TVs, etc, and training professors on how to operate the classroom equipment in their teaching spaces. I also graduated from Sacred Heart as an undergraduate in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts, concentrating specifically in the areas of Film & TV Production. I have over 7 years experience using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects, and Audition, and have used these programs to make a variety of content. Some of the content this includes is an official recruitment video for Kappa Alpha Theta, as well as another for Quinnipiac Panhellenic, lyric videos, podcasts, short-form animations, parallax photography, and music videos. I also have another 5 years experience doing graphic, projection, and sound design for theatrical productions, most recently for Sacred Heart University's Theatre Arts Program, ranked 18th best in the country by Princeton Review. The shows I have worked on have received a multitude of design awards; I personally was nominated for "Best Non-Equity Sound Design" by BroadwayWorld for my work on "Hair", as well as helping to contribute to "Best Non-Equity Projection Design" for "Be More Chill","Reefer Madness", and "Hair". Finally, I am experienced in creating content for Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook, as I have worked on the advertising committee for my school's theatre program, as well as content for my own personal social media.
