About Brendan Coyle

Brendan Coyle is an Art Director and Creative Consultant specializing in the field of product design, branding and digital marketing. He has helped startups and well established brands craft their identities for nearly two decades, including Disney Tokyo, World Strength Games, CJ’s Elite Suits, Theater Talk Productions on Broadway and Enoteca Maria: Nonnas of the World. Brendan works on various 3D design projects encompassing product design, 3D printing and gaming concepts, developing backstory, game mechanics and character concepts in 2D and 3D. He has a mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and an array of similar apps for visual layout and design. His work involves creating effective branding, outreach and marketing initiatives utilizing illustration, logos, wordmarks and web design. He built his foundation as a freelancer in web development, coding in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, later migrating to Wordpress to design content management websites that implement e-commerce solutions, form builders, Buddypress, and many other functionalities. Brendan holds a Bachelors of Fine Art from the esteemed Sculpture and Extended Media Department minoring in Painting and Printmaking at Virginia Commonwealth University. His perspectives on creative problem solving and his unique powers of ideation lend multifarious advantages to his clients and colleagues in the field of practical design. Alongside his professional design career, Brendan has consistently delved into the fine art world, working in museums and assisting art conservators with the maintenance of historic works of sculpture such as Rodin and Salvador Dali. He once founded a community wide art walk in Staten Island, NY and has directed several popular art galleries across the east coast. He has toured as a performance artist in festivals at home and abroad, and won several project grants and a congressional award as an emerging artist. Today he stokes his passion for art by drawing comics and writing a personal mythology that he is crafting into a bespoke role playing game.
