Brendan is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with experience on all aspects of cost management and advisory in construction projects, from inception stage through to final account stage.Brendan has developed this extensive portfolio of skills whilst working with both clients and contractors on a range of projects, including rail and road projects, civil infrastructure, aviation, commercial, residential, sporting and educational sectors in both Ireland and Australia. He has been involved in project management, procurement, cost planning, estimating, tendering and negotiating tenders for private clients, contractors and public bodies.Brendan has undertaken cost planning and estimation from concept to tender stage, ensuring best value for money to the client and project teams, whilst providing valuable strategic risk and contingency advice throughout the development of the project.He also has valuable experience in post contract services and administration of projects for both contractor and clients dealing with payments, extension of time and delay claims, variations, forecasting and other day to day contractual issues.
