About Brendan Downing

With over 10 years of experience in education and behavioral health, I am a Clinic Coordinator at I Am Boundless, a nonprofit organization that provides comprehensive services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. In this role, I oversee the daily operations of the clinic, including but not limited to scheduling, billing, supervising behavior technicians, and developing and implementing new hire training. I have a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from Ohio University, where I conducted research on innovative and inclusive pedagogical practices and strategies. I also have a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University-Portland, and a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication from Ohio University. I am skilled in curriculum design, training, data-driven decision making, assessment, and innovation, as well as communication, collaboration, and leadership. My mission is to create and deliver quality and meaningful learning experiences that empower and inspire the individuals and communities I serve. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of behavioral health and education service providers, and contributing to the equitable education of all individuals.
