Prior to joining HALO, he was the Vice President of Global Operations for Interactive Data Corporation, a global provider of financial market data, analytics and related services to financial institutions, active traders and individual investors. He was responsible for the organization alignment of the Operations and IT departments, operational strategy, and Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery operations across the globe. A graduate of the US Naval Academy, Brendan served with distinction for thirty years as a Naval Aviator; his last five years as the Deputy Commander for Navy Region Europe, responsible for the security, force protection and the day-to-day operations of all US Navy bases in Europe. He has extensive experience in forging international partnerships, having organized and led a multi-national, multi-discipline team from 5 countries and 4 major defense contractors that established requirements for and initial design of the P-8A (new U.S. Navy aircraft). Since joining HALO, Brendan has been responsible for establishing the company’s Global Business Development effort, representing HALO before Congress and the US Navy. He developed and implemented the strategy to have the HALO systems be the first barrier systems in the world to be independently tested, by the Department of Defense and the U.S. Navy. He directed the development of the world’s first and currently only fully automatic gate for maritime barriers. Brendan is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company. He is responsible for the successful installation of the longest continuous maritime barrier in the world comprising a fixed barrier with multiple gates in Bahrain, protecting the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet. As President/COO, Brendan has developed internal process and production teams that coherently collaborate and produce solutions applicable to individual customer requirements positioning HALO as the world leader in Maritime Security Barriers. Through his leadership HALO will continue to develop multiple, scalable marine barriers and line of demarcation systems so customers can reduce/mitigate risk for personnel & assets through safety, security & access control in maritime environment.
