About Brendan Hansen

As a Division I athlete at the University of Texas, I won multiple NCAA titles and went on to compete professionally in more than 25 international competitions, including three Olympic Games. Through this journey, I learned the enduring value of discipline, consistency, and intentional goal setting. Serving as team captain across several teams further developed my leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.High-performance environments taught me a powerful truth: you don’t rise to expectations; you fall to your standards. Those standards are built and reinforced by the work you commit to every day. After retiring from competitive sport in 2012, I translated these principles into the business world, building and leading teams across diverse industries. These experiences challenged me in new ways and accelerated my growth as a leader and coach beyond sport.Today, I work closely with high-performing coaches, athletes, and USA Swimming staff to prepare for optimal performance at the highest levels of competition. I also partner with businesses and teams to speak on leadership, teamwork, and standards, and coach individuals seeking to develop sustainable habits of discipline, consistency, and goal achievement.
