Previously led similar work at Intel for PON and Cable broadband NFV platforms. Also worked as a senior developer of network and security processors in an earlier role at Intel. In a previous position at Tango Telecom (subsequently acquired by CSGI), led design and development of a 3GPP standards based PCRF (Policy and Charging Rules Function) which was deployed by a major mobile service-procider in Asia. Before this, led development of an IN-based pre-paid charging service while at Tecnotree which was deployed by several mobile service providers across South America and was one of the earliest such real-time pre-paid services to be deployed anywhere in the world. Started as a graduate engineer with Fujitsu, and spent several years based in Japan working in firmware and software development for various Fujitsu printer products. I also completed Japanese language training to level-1 (highest) proficiency and still speak fluent Japanese.
