About Brenden Combs

I am a Senior at Miami University with a Marketing major and a Sports Management minor. I am looking to get a full time marketing position for after I graduate in May 2025 in the Cincinnati area but I am also open to moving for a job. I am also looking to grow and learn about the marketing and business world as much as possible. Currently, I am interning at the Miami University Athletics Communications and Marketing Department as a Marketing Team Lead. During my time working there, I have worked at numerous sports events. During those events, I have partaken in the running of intermission events, handling giveaways, and setting up/tearing down fan activities. I have gained many skills while working at this internship and some of those skills are time management, leadership, and collaboration. I am interested in the world of business and specifically engaging and interacting with customers which is why I am interested in a marketing internship. I have also recently joined the Miami Sports Marketing organization, and so far I have listened to speakers and how spoken to other members about the sports world and specifically sports marketing. I have learned that there are a lot of careers relating to sports marketing and different ways to get involved in the sports industry. This experience has opened my eyes to how big and exciting the sports industry is and has sparked my interest even more in the career of sports marketing. I have a positive personality and am a great team member. I also like talking to people with different skill sets and backgrounds to get a full perspective of a specific question/problem.
