About Brenna Coles

Experienced Childcare & Youth Manager with a background in mental health counselling and a strong foundation in recreation, leadership, and child, youth, and family program development. At Hollyburn Country Club, I lead a team of over 20 child & youth program staff and oversee programs serving children (4 months–13 years) and their families. I’ve successfully designed and implemented a wide range of recreational programs, drop-in activities, and family engagement events that align with community needs and interests. My approach combines hands-on experience as a former educator and supervisor with strategic oversight, from staff training to program innovation. I actively collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to deliver high-quality, diverse programming and foster a strong sense of community. As a Certified Professional Counsellor and Coach, I bring an evidence-based, trauma-informed lens to both leadership and client support—helping to build environments where children, youth, and families thrive. At the heart of my work is a commitment to nurturing emotional, mental and physical wellness, developmental readiness, and supportive community connections—whether in a recreational setting or a virtual counselling space.
