About Brenna Okeeffe

I am currently in my final year of college studying a Bachelor of commerce in International hotel management. As a current student of Shannon College of hotel management, I have fully immersed myself into the world of hospitality. Spending my 4th year based on the main University of Galway campus primarily focusing on business modules such as global marketing, international business and business strategy have provided me with a further insight into the world of commerce. Along with that, the additional years studying french has allowed me to improve my language skills, enabling me to further engage internationally. My interest and passion for hospitality has provided me with opportunities within both the Food & Beverage department and Rooms division. I have gained many skills working in these departments within the last 6 six years. These include emotional intelligence, communication and problem-solving skills. I am driven, motivated and determined to continue working in the industry as it is an extremely exciting and rewarding global industry. My most recent position as a Food & Beverage supervisor in a 2 AA rosette award-winning restaurant has given me an insight into the fine dining aspect of Food & Beverage.
