About Brennan Chance

Hello! Currently, I have recently completed a six year contract with the United States Air Force as a Network Technician. Regarding my military career, I was a SSgt (E-5) and have had six years of experience with installing network devices, troubleshooting networks, teaching the trade to fellow Airmen, as well as filling a supervisory role. I am very interested in a job that involves computer networking as a civilian following my term with the AF. I have multiple goals when it comes to education. I have an up to date Security + certification. I am studying for my CCNA certification exam now and plan on passing the test very soon, following that I'd like to proceed on to my CCNP certification. I also plan on learning more in depth about Linux and Python as well. I will be pursuing my bachelors degree in Network Operations and Security at Western Governors University (big thanks to the G.I. Bill). As I'm sure you can tell from above, I enjoy keeping myself busy with bettering myself and learning new aspects of networking. Throughout my span of time with the Air Force I have picked up on multiple key teachings that will better my performance in my upcoming civilian career to include: leadership, followership, multitasking, getting things done right the first time, patience, and more.
