I have two decades of experience in manufacturing. I have extensive mechanical knowledge in all the related areas: Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, CNC Machining, Part Design, Tooling, Fixturing, Repair and Maintenance, Upgrades and Retrofitting. I have an outstanding record of technical, mechanical and logistical problem solving. I readily understand and digest new ideas, technologies and methodologies. I have a deep understanding of a vast array of industrial machinery from simple shop floor equipment to large processing equipment, machine tools and other specialty equipment. I am fluent in most engineering vernacular. I have blueprint and schematic reading skills. I have rebuilt many machines and repaired countless others. I have designed and built machines for specific jobs. I have retrofitted older (including pre WW2 era) machines with modern components (DRO's, Linear and Rotary Scales, etc.). I have reverse-engineered equipment. I have designed, machined and upgraded new parts for outdated machines. I have experience with analytics, time studies and continuous process improvement. I have excellent research abilities and have amassed an extensive technical support network. I have worked with lean manufacturing, process standardization and failure analysis. I have a strong fixation with understanding a problem, adapting to solve it and overcoming it. I have trained many employees and enjoy mentoring people that have a desire to learn, explore and discover why and how things work. I find this, in particular, to be very fulfilling, I am dedicated, intuitive and focused. I have enjoyed great success using my skills and knowledge and look forward to an opportunity that will not only allow me to continue doing so, but will help others as well. I am very easy-going, friendly and funny. I have found those qualities to be of great importance in the workplace. I try to approach every challenge with a small amount of playfulness. I strongly believe in the importance of working hard with a happy heart.
