In the same role, I identified and capitalized on an opportunity to short energy companies during the 2012 natural gas bear market generating more than 50 bps of excess return. At Nuveen Investments, I conducted fundamental and complex credit research, identified opportunities, and posted significant double-digit returns on investment-grade and high-yield portfolios in 2009. Additionally, I ensured sound portfolio management of investment-grade and high-yield portfolios in electric utilities, pipeline, energy, and industrial sectors at Banc of America Capital Management.
