About Brent Hayden

I'm a 4x Olympian, Olympic Bronze Medalist, and World Champion in swimming, proudly representing Canada on the world stage. After retiring following the London 2012 Games, I launched a comeback seven years later with less than a year to qualify for Tokyo 2020. I went on to lead Canada to a fourth-place finish in the 4x100m Freestyle Relay, posting a time of 47.99 at age 37 and becoming the oldest swimmer in history to break the 48-second barrier. Today, I’m the Canada Accounts Representative for FINIS, a global leader in swim innovation. I work with swim schools, retailers, and clubs across the country to provide world-class gear that helps swimmers reach their full potential in the water. I’m also a professional keynote speaker and have spoken for brands like BMW, VISA, TEDx, CIBC, and Bell, sharing lessons on performance, mindset, and pushing past perceived limits. My mission is to help people discover what they're truly capable of—and keep going until they get there.
