About Brent Olson

Throughout my life, helping others has been an integral part of who I am. I chose a career in financial services because I believe I can make a difference in the lives of families in my community. At Edward Jones, we offer investments, services, and tools our clients need to work toward their financial future. In addition, the firm has thousands of professionals and advanced technology supporting our branch offices to help clients reach their long-term financial goals. I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan and enlisted in the United States Army at 21. I relocated to the Washington DC area on assignment to the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment “The Old Guard” at Fort Myer, VA. Separating from military service in 2004, I became a police officer in one of Northern Virginia’s highly respected police departments. I had the honor and serving my community for 18 years by providing professional law enforcement services that reflected the values of my community. As an Edward Jones Associate, I look to continue to my passion for helping others and making a difference in the community. Outside of Edward Jones, I have been married to my wife, Polly, for 15 years and counting. We have two amazing boys that bring joy to our live every day.
