A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Brent began his career in the financial services industry in 1987. He acts in a Fiduciary capacity when rendering advice and is careful to always place his client’s needs before his own. He is driven to serve and is committed to the principles of trust, integrity, and full transparencyHe earned a Bachelor of Science in marketing and a master’s degree in taxation from Arizona State University. Brent worked as a CPA in the tax division of a large international accounting firm before embarking on a career in financial planning. Prior to joining Carson Wealth in 2021, he founded Integrated Wealth Management (IWM) in 2001 which subsequently grew to become one of the largest independent RIA firms in AZ.Brent is a professional speaker on various taxation subjects and conducts comprehensive retirement planning seminars for several large corporations, including AT & T, APS, Boeing, Medtronic and Motorola. He spent several years teaching non-accredited financial planning workshops throughout the Maricopa Community College District. He has appeared as a guest speaker on “Your Money Matters” and the “Retirement Clinic” on KFYI Radio 550 AM. Brent is a three-time recipient of the prestigious Five Star Professional award, as seen in Phoenix Magazine.Brent and his lovely and energetic spouse, Vickie, both have deep roots in Arizona as fourth- and third-generation Arizonans, respectively. They have four children and four grandchildren. Both lead active lifestyles and have a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors. They love spending time with family, especially at their cabin in Pinetop where they hike, mountain bike and fly fish in the beautiful streams and pristine lakes in the White Mountains. Brent spent years coaching youth sports and now enjoys hiking and golf in his spare time. He also recently crossed an item off his bucket list: deep sea fishing in Alaska.
