I have been in the drilling industry for 13 years now in the exploration and mining sector. We recently completed a directional diamond drill hole working with a seasoned consultant by the name of Pieter Olivier. Below are Pieters thoughts on myself. I managed the surface drilling industry for the Cementation Mining for 14 years and retired in 2006 after a 43 year stay at Cementation Mining. I have seen numerous drill managers and superintendents in action but nobody impressed me more than Mr. Brent Smith. Since 2018 we successfully completed numerous projects. He impressed me with committed loyalty and focus he displayed, always willing, ready and eager to improve on his knowledge. In the 9 years he managed Titan Drilling Congo entire operation in the DRC. He displayed the qualities to make Titan a major force in the Congo Copperbelt. I found him to be pleasant, decent, honest, competitive, extremely hardworking and inspirational leader. He runs a well organized disciplined operation. Brent sets high standards for himself and his team demanding respect from all staff and employer by setting the example and leading from the front. It is not just his technical skills that is impressive but also an amazing positive attitude and attention to detail. Brent is very popular with his clients because he gets the job done to spec and to satisfaction. He is a hands on person but also an excellent administrator.
