About Brent Stark

I have worked every aspect of the collections field from 3rd party collections while managing collectors at Asset Acceptance, to car loans at Chrysler Financial, to charged off loans at Community Choice Credit Union, and lastly the mortgage and home equity end at University of Michigan Credit Union. I have spent time as a collector and also managed a team of 13 skip tracers. I never meant to join the collections industry and did so simply because Chrysler Financial was the first company to call after graduating college in I am very glad I did except that position at Chrysler because I have thoroughly enjoyed myself and learned so much in the collections industry in the last 9 years. Unfortunately I have to say w/ the state of the economy, my field will continue grow, but I feel it is for the better, for example…we collectors were once looked at as the brash, impolite, insensitive robot’s on the other end of the phone. We now have the opportunity to be part of the solution, we have the ability to be creative, empower individuals by giving them choices and options to not only help their collection issues, but to also lessen the losses for the financial companies we “collectors” work for. With that said, I am very glad I am where I am…part of the solution in the collections industry!
