About Brent Stephenson

Brent Stephenson is a practicing attorney living in Lincoln, Nebraska. In 2006, he graduated from Friends University with high honors, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English. Brent graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law with distinction in 2009, earning a Juris Doctor. During his final year of law school, he had the pleasure of clerking for the Honorable Alan G. Gless who, at that time, served as the District Court Judge for Nebraska's Fifth Judicial District. After graduation, Brent worked as an associate attorney for nearly six (6) years at the law firm of Jeffrey, Hahn, Hemmerling & Zimmerman, PC, LLO. While in private practice, he worked as a generalist, tackling civil matters of all sorts. But most often, Brent provided support and representation in the context of complex commercial litigation, including bankruptcy adversaries. Currently, Brent is pleased to be working as General Counsel and HR Manager for Vanguard Real Estate Solutions, LLC. Brent enjoys spending time with his wife and their three children. Brent also enjoys working on his comedy writing and reading very unfunny non-fiction. His wife will tell you that he owns more tech gadgets than anyone should. Perhaps most importantly, Brent is obsessed with Husker football.
