I never believed my engineering background would be such a huge benefit to my career in Human Resource Leadership. The skills I learned early on, including analytical thinking, logical problem solving, strategic planning & organizational optimization have served me well in developing a track record of building high-performing, progressive teams across multiple industries & geographies.The soft skills necessary to complete my transition i.e. Knowledge & Expertise in Human Resources, Communication, Time Management & Self Discipline, Trustworthiness, Impartiality & Objectivity, Training, Development & Mentoring were developed over a 2-decade career with some of the largest corporations in the US.A few key differentiators for me include extensive technology application & implementation experience (as a consultant as well as HR Executive), M&A due diligence & acquisition integration, driving employee engagement through business analytics & practical application, building infrastructure & resources needed to drive organizational capabilities that directly impact culture, efficiency & innovation.These skills allowed me to build new HR organizations from the ground up as well as streamlining established groups. Additionally, the infrastructure and processes I established at my last organization enabled the total integration of a company we acquired in less than 4 months. I have worked diligently on my self-awareness which has truly enabled my credibility & effectiveness as a leader.
