Background
About Bret Bays
I'm a hard working, team oriented, guy looking to help bring characters to life. With a decade of experience in rigging and technical animation/CFX at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Bringing life to characters as a rigger on Get a Horse, Zootopia, Ralph Breaks the Internet, and Encanto. Improving animation performance through simulation and sculpting on Frozen, Zootopia, Moana, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Frozen 2, and Encanto. With several other projects in between. I enjoy streamlining processes and procedures to help try to make everything more efficiency. I originally graduated from California Lutheran University with a Bachelors of Art in Multimedia and Art. A year after that I enrolled in Animation Mentor and was a part of Graduating Class 16. I also enjoy playing Rugby. Specialties: Character Animation, Character Rigging, Pizza, Club Sandwiches and Scrums. Portfolio/Demo Reels available here:
