About Bret Kunash

My name is Bret Kunash. I graduated from Point Park University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport, Arts, and Entertainment Management. I am a creative, experienced, hard worker always looking for new opportunities within the event management/live entertainment/music industries. While in school, I worked as the Pittsburgh College Marketing Representative for Sony Music Entertainment, interned with A-F Records (a small, independent record label) and assisted the management of the internationally known punk rock band, Anti-Flag. I gained valuable experience in marketing and management while maintaining a high grade point average each semester. In the past I supervised three of the top entertainment venues in Pittsburgh, PA. I supervised the guest services staff at Stage AE, where we hosted top national touring bands and coordinated major special events. Through the summer and football seasons, I supervised the club level at Heinz Field where we hosted stadium concerts, NFL games, and premium catering events. I also was in a supervisor position at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. There we hosted large consumer conventions, corporate events, galas and banquets. I currently am the Promotions Coordinator for PromoWest North Shore at Stage AE where I assist the Marketing Department and manage the intern/promo team. I spend my free time playing guitar and singing in a local Pittsburgh band. I love playing shows and hope to continue playing/writing music throughout my life. I have spent time in professional recording studios and taken part in booking/promoting local concerts. When I'm not working an event or concert, learning, or playing music with friends I love spending time with my family and dog.
