About Bret Parker

I am a Pixar veteran with 26 years experience creating and animating over 20 films like Oscar-winning “Finding Nemo” and “The Incredibles.” No, I cannot get you Dory’s autograph. What I can do is bring passion and energy to every project I'm involved with! My creative side is enhanced by my technical abilities. I helped develop the patented "Presto animation software" that is designed to be intuitive and familiar to animators who have traditional cel animation experience. It is now used broadly across Pixar and given us a competitive advantage since its development. From creating and directing work for the groundbreaking dance troupe “Iluminate” to creating a short animated film about climate change with California College of the Arts, my experience is both broad and inspired by what is personally important to me. I co-founded my company, Artfarm Productions, to find new ways to bring my unique perspective to the screen while bringing visibility to the queer community.
