He is particularly experienced in developing and leading physician business organizations and providing sound financial and strategic guidance for troubled enterprises. Over the course of Mr. Smith’ career, he has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, ranging from management services organizations, community-based health systems to private physician practices. He has worked in both taxable and tax exempt organizations. Mr. Smith spent the first ten years of his career working as a behavioral health counselor until selling his company to a community healthcare system. For the past three years, Mr. Smith has provided consulting services to various healthcare organizations as well as physician practices across the US.
