InSource Fire Service Training and Consulting provides all levels of Hazardous Materials Emergency Response training and Emergency Incident Tactics and Strategy training. I have over 37 years experience in emergency response holding positions from Firefighter to Fire Chief including, Assistant Chief of Operations, Assistant Chief of Training, Battalion Chief, Station Chief. I developed and directed the hazardous materials program for McChord AFB Fire Department for 22 years prior to my retirement in 2011. I participated in the Washington State Patrol Hazardous Materials Committee and was honored with a life time membership for my service to the state. I was co-founder, chair, and vice chair of the Puget Sound Regional Hazardous Materials Teams Committee,(now know as the Pierce County Hazardous Incident Teams). I have a diverse background in emergency management, managing EMS/Mass casualty, aircraft fire/rescue, structural fires, vehicle accidents and extrications, hazardous materials incidents/weapons of mass destruction incidents, confined space incidents, high angle and technical rescue incidents. I have instructed all levels of hazardous materials emergency response for over 25 years writing NFPA compliant courses and being published by Jones/Bartlett publishing company. I have instructed Emergency Incident Tactics and Strategy courses in conjunction with InSource Inc. for over 15 years and offer tabletop courses in Managing the Initial Alarm Assignment, Advanced Strategy and Tactics, and an NFPA 472 compliant table top Strategy and Tactics for Hazardous Materials Incidents course. I hold IFSAC certifications as a FO IV, Fire Inst. Fire Insp. Haz-Mat Train the Trainer AW, OPS, TECH, IC, I have held a Washington State Vocational Teaching Certificate for > 20 years. I am certified as an instructor by Washington State, DoD, IFSAC, ISFSI, NFA, the National Clandestine Lab Training Programs. Train Hard, Respond Smart, Be Safe! Master the Craft/Maintain Traditions
