I'm a highly organised and competent professional with strong values of honesty, integrity and loyalty. I've always prided myself on being an outstanding ambassador and role model. Throughout my career I've risen above challenges with limited budgets to provide innovative and creative solutions to build diverse communities. I've always made a positive difference and my skills have enabled me to enhance brand loyalty, reputation and profitability. November 2014 – current Alumni Relations Officer, Leeds Trinity University (LTU) I initiated and manage an Alumni Relations programme after cleansing a limited database by utilising a communications and engagement strategy. I developed a profitable merchandise range, benefits package for members, annual events calendar, mentoring programme and wrote the initial fundraising and GDPR strategies. I have been nominated several times for a Student Led Staff Award and have twice been a finalist. I was also a finalist in the 2019 Leeds Trinity Employability Awards for Staff member Most Committed to Employability. Engagement – I initiated an Alumni Committee, Alumni Business Network and source alumni mentors, alumni ambassadors and placement providers. I manage and host and well attended annual alumni events programme, which also enhances the student experience. I write reports for and present to the Executive Group and governors. Negotiating with others – I established an attractive benefits and discount package for members after negotiating with internal and external companies (eg hotels and travel providers). I have brought in, and interviewed, many high-level (and famous) alumni guest speakers to the University. I manage the alumni and merchandise budgets. Communications - I established an internal communications group to centralise communications and work with key colleagues. I manage alumni webpages, Alumni Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter channels and edit monthly e-newsletters (the open rate is 49%, much higher than the sector average). I regularly deliver speeches and briefings for groups up to 400 and have spoken about effective alumni relations at Oxford University.
