Brett has been involved in a broad range of building, design & architectural projects over the past 30 years. Having spent the last 16 years on the Sunshine Coast, Brett has built a reputation for high quality work, and a genuine commitment to his clients and their project needs. He is well regarded by industry peers and is often commended for going the extra mile to achieve the best possible outcome and providing the background detail in support. Brett’s knowledge and experience is drawn from both local and international architects & designers, builders & consultants. As well as a hugely diverse range of project typologies encountered during periods of work in Brisbane, Sydney, Auckland, & the UK. Academically Brett has studied in both New Zealand and Australia towards various building design and technical qualifications. Brett also undertakes regular professional development programs to remain up-to-date with construction industry legislation, and the latest products and materials available. Brett believes in maximising a projects potential by emphasising the importance of the design phase. During this phase, choices and outcomes are fluid. In the early stages, changes are easily made and at little cost. However, as the project moves toward and into construction this ratio reverses, where changes are more difficult and more costly. Taking the time to establish a detailed brief, formulating ideas, & creating a design that has ownership by all parties, always results in a great outcome.
