A multi-faceted and versatile innovator, Brett Beldock's signature style is Bohemian Luxe. Her finesse with color and texture defines her portfolio of furniture and wallpapers, both of which are influenced by art and history to create her unique aesthetic. After attending Parsons School of Design, Brett spent 10 years as a fashion designer until she was asked to design a townhouse for a friend, thus launching her career as an interior designer."As a designer, you can create anything from hats to hassocks." Brett believes that fashion design plays an integral role in interior and product design, and visa versa. This is one of the many mantras Brett taught in her time as a professor at both NYU and NYIT. In 1988, Brett founded Brett Design Inc as an interior design and construction firm. She lead high end projects for 30 years until the brand rerouted to focus solely on a high-range line of wall-coverings, spanning from chic to ethereal, as well as a unique line of custom furniture that works in spaces from mod to trad. The designs are currently shown at Profiles in the New York Design Center, Hewn in San Francisco, RHughes in Atlanta, Harbinger in LA and Ken Kehoe in Houston. In addition to her own lines, Brett has designed a line of wall-coverings for Stark, carpets for Doris Leslie Blau, and upholstered furniture for Profiles NY. In 2016, Brett Design Inc became lucky enough to start designing lines of furniture, bedding, and wallpaper for CB2. This has become a great joy to the company as it completes it's 6th seasons with CB2.
