30 years’ experience working in the oil/gas and associated industries, with experience in all aspects of design through working on offshore and onshore projects, from conceptual/feed study work to detail design. •A background in the Layout and Piping discipline with later positions in multi-discipline Project Engineering roles. •Considerable FC yard experience and certified for Offshore Norwegian Continental Shelf. •Roles have covered Follow on phases and project close out experience •Complex hook-up contractor support / interfacing across multiple engineering contractors / office locations. •Experience of offshore heavy lift installations. •Managed project disciplines teams of up to 60 Engineers/Designers. Responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting etc. •Generation of project specific piping work instructions/guidelines. •Considerable project experience with Equinor Guidelines and Technical Requirements, GL’s and TR’s. •Mentored trainee designers and graduate engineers through corporate development programs. •Design coordination across all engineering disciplines in management positions on multi-location projects. •Layout and design of large modularized based projects. •Work has covered small module-based projects to major projects complete with infrastructure on green field sites. •Extensive range of bid work completed including, LNG trains, gas compression modules, oil refineries, oil and gas pipelines, wind farms. •Layout and detail design of cryogenic equipment and piping on LNG trains and re-gasification plants. •Worked with high temperature/pressure piping. •Worked in a variety of locations including the North Sea, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia. •Certified for offshore North Sea sector •Fully trained on 3D and 2D CAD systems, PDMS, Autocad, Microstation, Navisworks. Responsible for ‘Reality Review’ package on many projects. •Involved in producing corporate cad standards and procedures. •A number of the projects worked on have included a position of CAD co-ordination, involving the control of the catalogue and specification system, drawing databases, MTO production and general responsibility of the cad deliverables.
