About Brett Griffiths

I have worked in higher education for over twelve years, gaining experience as an instructor, department head, curriculum developer and a dean. As a dean, I take pride in enabling my team in the School of Trades, Technology and Design at Vancouver Community College (VCC) with providing high quality, accessible education in an inclusive environment. Currently, I am responsible for providing strategic, academic, and administrative leadership for the School of Trades, Technology and Design. My diverse portfolio includes programs and courses in Automotive Collision and Refinishing, Automotive Service Technician, Computer Systems Technology, Electronics Repair Technology, Heavy Duty and Commercial Transport, Hair Design and Skin and Body Therapy, Visual Communication Design, Computer Aided Drafting and Building Information Modelling, and Jewellery Art and Design departments. It is my goal to provide the highest quality educational experience to students, and increase connections between industry and higher education. I am open to new opportunities for partnerships or collaborations that can enhance student and graduate success in industry.
