I have been with CSX Transportation since January 2011. I have had several roles with the company. I started out as a conductor and then an engineer working on the transportation side. I then switched crafts and became an electrician working on the mechanical side. I entered management as a Remote Control Operations Analyst. While in that role I furthered my education and obtained my AAS degree in transportation technology with a focus on rail. I was promoted and am currently acting as Plant Supervisor at the CSX Locomotive Shops in Waycross, GA. I originally gained my experience as an electrician in the USMC as an electrical equipment repair specialist and was a licensed journeyman electrician in the state of North Carolina. I have also completed studies in wildlife/forestry conservation.
