About Brett Jackson

Hi, I’m Brett Jackson. I’ve been building and growing companies in New Zealand, Australia and the United States for more than 30 years. It has always started with a spirit of adventure. In my early twenties, I set sail to travel the world by boat. Fast forward to today, I have led countless founders and their companies through unchartered territory into commercial success. As co-founder and executive chairman of Innovyz and Innovyz Institute, I am focused on breaking new ground, unearthing new technologies and value for investors, universities and researchers. This has always meant creating the trends, instead of following, and never accepting the status quo. This approach has led to the launch of over 90+ innovations and more than $700 million raised by Innovyz companies, and three have listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. But I’ve always understood that successful pioneering is never a solo effort. I build deep, authentic relationships based on humility and a culture of honour. This has led to effective collaboration and profitable partnerships. On the foundation of these values, I have worked hard to professionalise and grow Innovyz, while also leading Co-HAB, a not-for-profit coworking community that brings people together from diverse backgrounds, industries and disciplines. Prior to starting my own ventures, I held senior and international positions with iconic corporate brands Hills Industries, Orica and Dulux. While proud of everything that has been achieved through my career, my most important role, biggest challenge and greatest honour is being a husband and father of six children.
