Managing Director at Embark, advising clients through technical accounting and SEC financial reporting complexities related to deals and capital market transactions such as, acquisitions, IPO’s, SPAC mergers, and other corporate finance transactions. I advise clients to help them find the best path to reach their strategic goals and find value across the entire deal spectrum, from pre-transaction structuring considerations to post-deal integration. I bring more than a decade of experience building and leading diverse and inclusive teams, while being primarily focused on fostering team engagement through the cultivation of strong authentic and trusting relationships. My experience includes serving as a trusted advisor for organizations undergoing transformational change, with clients ranging from Fortune 500 global organizations to high growth companies on their journey to go public and then operate as a public company. I have specific industry experience in private equity, technology, media & telecommunications, aerospace & defense and consumer and industrial markets, among others. Prior to joining Embark, I was in PwC's Deals practice for 6 years and began my career in PwC's Trust Solutions (i.e, Audit) practice where I gained extensive knowledge of financial reporting processes and internal controls under SOX and PCAOB regulations overseeing audits of SEC registrants in several industries including technology, media & telecommunications, power & utilities, and aerospace & defense.I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Arizona and am also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
