Dr. King served as the State Farm Professor of Risk Management at the University of North Alabama. He is also the former Director of Graduate Programs at UNA and served as co-editor of the Journal of Business, Industry & Economics. He has published in many peer-reviewed publications such a s the Journal of Accountancy, Business Valuation Review, the Journal of Financial Planning and Forecasting as well as many other academic and practitioner journals. In addition to research in the area of political economics, Dr. King specializes in complex security valuation and corporate financial management. He worked as a Financial Analyst for Wachovia (now Wells Fargo) prior to earning his Master's and Ph.D in Finance at The University of Alabama in Specialties: Specialties include business and complex security valuation - specifically employee stock option valuation for closely-held and/or private companies. Dr. King also has an interest in statistical modeling and financial engineering; including Mote Carlo simulation, Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithmic approaches to complex security and business valuation.
