I possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I gained valuable experience at Alberta Health Services, one of the largest IT teams in Canada. I completed my Business Analysis diploma with honours and recently received a Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management with honours. Having had nine years of practice in notary service, office administration, and customer service, I am up for the challenge that complex and diverse projects can provide. I strive to not only meet expectations but to exceed them. I am highly skilled in interpersonal communications, and I work well as part of a team and as an individual. At NAIT, I learned several essential skills of being a business analyst, including requirements elicitation and gathering, business process modeling, and quality assurance testing, emphasizing agile methodologies. Through school work, I developed the fundamental knowledge of the Business Analyst Book of Knowledge, Project Management Book of Knowledge, and Certified Governance of Enterprise IT. I advocate providing simple solutions that bring collaboration and valuable results and am passionate about problem-solving. My fondest work was on my Capstone project, which was a rewarding opportunity to work with amiskwaciy Academy to develop a website as an educational tool for their students to learn and share more about their Indigenous cultures. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I believe that my professional experience makes it easier for me to see the linkage between solving a business problem and achieving organizational objectives. Working in a call centre environment for over four years, engaging in active listening with callers, confirming or clarifying information, and diffusing angry clients were skills I developed. Furthermore, I became more flexible and versatile after working as a commissioner for oaths. I advanced my professional service skills by communicating confidently and professionally. I enjoy interactions with people from diverse backgrounds and have a wealth of experience in communication and mediation. To sum up, I am a professional, calm, tenaciously driven, and detail-oriented person.
