Lead Thomas Kneale & Co Ltd, established back in 1947 and an Employee Ownership Trust since 2023. Product range covers bedroom and bathroom textiles, fire retardant fabrics, window coverings, special risk items and household products. We work with multiple Government departments and private businesses across every sector, covering entry level to premium, luxury environments. Driven to be the most responsible SME in the UK, our business is focused on Purpose, People, Planet & Profit. Recognised by multiple national awards including The King's Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development, and Business of the Year at The Good Small Business Awards (the UK's first sustainability awards for small businesses), and in being awarded Advocate of the Year by The Living Wage Foundation for work on growing the numbers of employers accredited in paying the real living wage.
