As a Systems/Network Administrator with a strong passion for technology and a clear focus on networking, I have steadily built my career in IT through continuous learning, hands-on experience, and a drive for excellence. I began my journey in IT as a help desk technician and quickly rose to the role of Help Desk Team Lead within just 16 months. After a few years of honing my skills and expanding my knowledge, I was promoted again to Systems Administrator, where I now manage critical systems and infrastructure with a focus on ensuring network reliability and performance. My professional growth is backed by multiple industry certifications (with a focus on networking) and a Bachelor’s in Information Technology. I am deeply committed to sharpening my skills, particularly in the areas of wireless, routing, and switching. What sets me apart is my passion for hands-on projects that extend beyond my professional duties. Whether it’s architecting a home security system with proper networking cabling or building out a home lab to explore new networking configurations, I constantly challenge myself to push my skills to the next level. These personal projects fuel my enthusiasm for networking and reinforce my aspiration to transition into a Network Engineer role in the near future. In addition to my current skill set, I am actively pursuing advanced networking certifications to include Fortinet, Cisco and Python, with a particular focus on Network Automation and SD-WAN solutions. These certifications reflect my dedication to staying ahead of industry trends and my commitment to mastering the technologies that I administer. With a strong foundation in IT infrastructure and a focused passion for networking, I am excited to continue growing in my career and take on new challenges that allow me to build innovative, high-performance networks that drive business success.
