About Brett Morrison

Born and raised in SW Manitoba. The oil field in this area has been my working home since 2006. Having started with construction in SE Saskatchewan, I have seen and worked in almost every stage of an oil well. From lease and road construction to drilling, servicing, operating and the eventual abandonment and reclamation of the well. In August 2022 I moved into an Operations Engineering Technician position with Tundra Oil and Gas. With the operations engineering group I work with facility engineers, production engineers and operations personnel to troubleshoot any issues that arise, ensure that machinery and systems are running efficiently and safely, and implement improvements to optimize production processes. I am also involved in the installation and commission of new equipment and systems. I bring 10+ years of field experience to my group which has proved valuable when discussing issues and determining the correct course of action. Outside of work, I serve as the Vice President of the Deloraine Golf Club, sit on the Deloraine Royals Senior Hockey club's board and like to take every opportunity I can to volunteer my time in the community through coaching my kids sports to lending a hand at any community function.
